                         Google Panda Update Launched date:- 23 February 2011 The name Panda has been derived from the name of a Google engineer Navneet Panda.  The objective of this update was to remove sites with thin and poor content to rank in SERP (Search Engine Result Page) and also to rank highly reputable and good quality websites with good content.  Panda 1.0 Launched Date- February 24, 2011 Google has taken aggressive action with respect to the content pages, content farming activities, excessive advertising and other quality issues.
